How long does it take to get the German Pension Refund?
From the moment we submit your application until the payout of the refund money on avergae the refund process takes 4-8 weeks.
In theory the officials have legally 6 months time to answer on your application but we never had the case that they really make use of their right, because we prepare the application in the format they want to see and without any documents missing. Hence there is no reason for the Pension Insurance to prolong the process.
