Update 2023/05/01: We have received above message from the Pension officials in Berlin in 2021. In recent letters from the Pension officials in Oldenburg we read that "the reimbursement of contributions can have an impact on a possible residence permit in the Federal Republic of Germany. We therefore recommend that you seek advice on this from the Ausländerbehörde"
We have also contacted the German Ausländerbehörde which is responsible for visa matters and asked for clarification.
